Specifically, the grant will be used to help the Cleveland Area Neighborhood Association match the City of Cedar Rapids' park improvement budget for Cleveland Park to ensure that the park is designed to exceed our community's expectations and welcome all children of all ages and abilities to our playground.
“We are thrilled to accept this grant from ITC Midwest, and we cannot express our appreciation enough,” commented Nicole Schroeder, Secretary of the Cleveland Area Neighborhood Association. “The new Cleveland Park playground will expand and make up a larger footprint in the park and include playground features that encourage all types of play with a mix of physical, sensory, and social activities for multiple challenge levels. We are beyond excited to see this project come to life in 2020.”
“ITC Midwest is pleased to provide this support to the Cleveland Area Neighborhood Association,” said ITC Midwest Area Local Government and Community Affairs Cydney Lovell. “We are grateful for the organization’s work to improve Cleveland Park with new playground equipment to provide enhanced opportunities for recreation.”
The Cleveland Area Neighborhood Association strives to meet the needs of the neighborhood and provide a clean, welcoming environment for our community members and visitors.
