- Treasurer's Report - Amy Hall-Haney - No recent transactions. Current bank account balance is $3,635.55.
- CRPD Update - Lt. Welsh - Review of CRPD report for CANA. No major changes or anything new to report in recent weeks. CRPD is hiring 10 new police officers. Jen Roberts will be our contact for the Safety and Wellness Fair to coordinate CRPD. Shannon Sampson is still involved with Safe Kids Linn County for that part of the event. Lt. Welsh said he could help get McGruff coordinated for the event with Jen Roberts.
- Review of 8th Ave SW speed radar data - the second round of monitoring is live this week. The full report can be reviewed here.
- CRFD Update - Chief Smith - Review of Neighborhood News. CRFD is bringing on 10 more hires, plus those in training. Many CRFD retirements coming up in the next few years.
- SAFE-CR Update - Matt Wagner - Over 500 nuisance properties are active in Cedar rapids, including the one on the corner of 15th and 8th Ave SW. 6-7 have recently moved into compliance. No additional neighborhood concerns at this time.

- Easter Egg Hunt Recap - Amy Hall-Haney - Thank you to all of our neighbors and friends for joining us at Cleveland Park on Saturday, March 30th for our CANA Easter Egg Hunt. We were happy to host about 80 children today to enjoy some fun outside with special prizes at the end of the hunt. Thank you to our friends from Cedar Rapids Central Church of Christ for their volunteers and support to make this year's hunt possible.
- March Meeting “Dinner with Mayor Tiffany” Recap - Amy Hall-Haney - CANA hosted about 24 neighbors in attendance for Dinner with the Mayor in lieu of our March CANA meeting. Dinner was hosted and prepared by Mayor Tiffany, and we were thankful to have many neighbors bring sides and desserts to share.
- CANA Board Nominations - George Heeren - No additional nominations at this time.
- CANA President Nomination: George Heeren. All in favor, none opposed. George Heeren will serve another term as the 2024-2026 CANA President.
- CANA Treasurer Nomination: Amy Hall-Haney. All in favor, none opposed. Amy Hall-Haney will serve another term as the 2024-2026 CANA Treasurer.

- 5th Annual Community Safety & Wellness Fair - George Heeren - We will be scheduling a planning meeting soon. HyVee has committed to food. Bikes and school supplies (Staples) are committed as giveaways/donations. Mascots are nearly confirmed. Looking at adding a weather radio giveaway and a weather radio station from KCRG. Need to reach out to Stewart Baxter about sponsoring the helmet giveaway after getting updated pricing from Safe Kids Linn County on pricing for 100 helmets. Event is scheduled for Saturday 6/22 at Cleveland Park from 10am to 1pm.

- Jessica English - Hillside Community Church is hosting a Summer Carnival for Cleveland Elementary School PTO on Friday, May 17th from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Cleveland Elementary. There will be bounce houses, carnival games, raffle prizes, face painting, snow cones, a bicycle giveaway, and grilled food. Information is available here. Neighborhood donations are welcome.
