Join the City of Cedar Rapids for a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the City Manager's 1-Bag Challenge! Cedar Rapids' City Manager Jeff Pomeranz challenges every resident to collect at least one bag of litter each year, and in celebration of 10 years of this successful program, we are hosting an end-of-summer litter pick-up event. The event will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 5-7 p.m. at the McGrath Amphitheatre downtown. Join us to take the City Manager's 1-Bag Challenge and help CleanUpCR!
Water, snacks, and giveaway items will be provided. Following brief remarks and a group photo, participants will be encouraged to pick up litter together.
