Monthly Meeting Minutes
Central Church of Christ
In attendance:

Treasurer’s Report: $710.52
George Heeren got us a post office box that cost $82.00. The new mailing address is:

Officer Graham Campshure from the Cedar Rapids Police Department gave us an update on the calls for service in our neighborhood. Please see attachment for more details.
Diane Webber from Cedar Rapids Animal Control also spoke to the group about animal safety. If you would like a copy of the handout she provided, please let us know. It was several pages and would have been too large to attach to this email. Animal Control is located on the Kirkwood campus and is open Monday through Saturday from 12:00-5:00.
The pancake and omelet breakfast will be taking place on Saturday, June 30th. Prices will be $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. It will run from 8:oo-11:00 am. It will take place at the CENTRAL CHURCH OF CHRIST in the basement.
George got approval from the church to have a car show in the parking lot this summer. That information and date has yet to be set.
National Night Out will be held on August 7th at Cleveland Park. As the date gets closer, we will have more information.
Assistant Chief Curtis Hopper said that there is a program that focuses on educating the elderly called Linn Country TRIAD. For more information please call, 319-804-9334 or email [email protected]. You can also go to www.LinnCountyTRIAD.org.
